An “interview” is a formal meeting where one person asks another person questions to find out if they are suitable for a job, a role, or even admission to a school or university. It’s a very common step when you apply for a new position or opportunity.<\/p>\n

During an interview, you talk about your skills, experiences, and personality. The goal is for the interviewer to get to know you better and decide if you are a good fit, and for you to learn more about the role and decide if you want it. In our dialogue, Bob is preparing for a funny, imaginary “interview” to be the ‘Head of Office Plant Hydration and Pep Talks.’ Alice is helping him practice, giving him tips on how to answer questions and make a good “first impression,” just like for a real job interview!<\/p>\n
